Verdigris Wins Silver Stevie® Award In 2021 International Business Awards®

Company’s smart building management platform honored in “Achievement in Product Innovation” category

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. – August 16, 2021 – Verdigris, today announced it is the winner of a Silver Stevie® Award in the 18th Annual International Business Awards®, the world’s premier business awards program. Verdigris was recognized in the “Achievement in Product Innovation” category for its flagship AI-powered smart building management platform. More than 3,700 nominations from organizations in 63 countries were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories.

“Verdigris has continued to innovate to meet industry demand to reduce energy waste and optimize building operations,” said Mark Chung, CEO and co-founder, Verdigris. “We’re honored to receive this Stevie award and it will further energize our team efforts to combat and solve this global energy problem.”

Stevie Award winners were determined by the average scores of more than 260 executives worldwide who participated in the judging process from June through early August.

Judging criteria was based on company achievements from 2019 to the present. Verdigris has thrived over the past two years, seeing a strong demand in terms of customer acquisition and expansions. Verdigris has introduced several new innovative products and features including Adaptive Automation, an autonomous building controls product that optimizes energy consumption, and the EV2 energy data gateway, the next generation of the company’s superior IoT energy monitoring hardware. Verdigris has also shipped a record number of systems, won significant deals with industry leaders including T-Mobile and ARM, and announced a global partnership for ABB to use its AI.

“What we’ve seen in this year’s IBA nominations is that organizations around the world, in every sector, have continued to innovate and succeed, despite the setbacks, obstacles and tragedies of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic,” said Stevie Awards president Maggie Gallagher. “All of this year’s Stevie Award winners are to be applauded for their persistence and their resilience. We look forward to celebrating their achievements with them during our 8 December virtual awards ceremony.”

Verdigris’ Silver Stevie award is the latest recognition for the company. Most recently, the company received a 2021 Golden Bridge Business and Innovation Award in the Energy Management category for helping solve the global problem of energy waste and a 2021 Network Sustainability Award that honors tech innovators with solutions for renewable energies and network management.
