At Verdigris, we’re always looking for ways to help you save more—both in terms of energy and costs. Our latest updates to Adaptive Automation do just that by delivering more accurate savings insights and simplifying the process of integrating with your Building Management System (BMS).
Improved Measurement of Cost Savings
Originally, Adaptive Automation’s cost savings were estimated using a simulation model based on historical data. While this provided a solid benchmark, its accuracy diminished over time as the historical data became less relevant.
To ensure you’re getting a true reflection of your savings, we’ve switched to using periodic A/B testing. This method measures your building’s energy usage both with and without Adaptive Automation in place, offering a continuous and reliable benchmark. Now, you can have greater confidence in the savings reported, knowing they’re based on real-time data.
Simplified BMS Integration
We’ve also made it easier to integrate Adaptive Automation with your BMS. Previously, specialized service integrators were required to program new settings and map logic. Now, Verdigris can directly integrate with existing setpoints, eliminating the need for these intermediate steps.
This enhancement not only cuts down on time and costs associated with the initial setup but also reduces ongoing maintenance expenses. With faster integration and a quicker return on investment, you’ll start seeing the benefits of Adaptive Automation sooner.
